Okay, so, first things first, this isn’t working out.

that added to the fact that I didn’t want to spend that much time on this especially because I didn’t know what I was going to draw for this post.

by the way, I got a new tablet
This is like my second time using it and I’ve had it for a few weeks now.
It’s supposed to be more of an investment. It’s going to last a while and I can actually use it to draw (now that I have a tablet with actual drawing space) in the future as I improve artistically.
I haven’t been posting any art or anything lately, and honestly, a big part of it is my laziness. It’s not just towards drawing, but towards everything. It’s gotten so bad and I’m just starting to get myself back together, because it’s gotten really bad. It’s affected my progress artistically and academically, among other things.
Besides my laziness, I’ve hardly touched my tablet because of my schedule and my current set up. Between work, school, and this weird sleeping thing that I’ve started trying out, I have less free time, and the free time I do have is trying to spend less time gaming and slacking, but trying to spend more time with my friends and getting back into my schoolwork. My current setup isn’t really encouraging me to play with my tablet… honestly because my tablet is bigger than the screen I’m trying to draw on. It’s a bit frustrating, and I’d just rather draw on paper than deal with it, which is why I’m gradually saving up for a laptop so I can not only have a bigger screen, but I can actually draw in more places than the open living room. All in all, it could be worse, and it’s not dramatically affecting me, but it’s just sort of annoying only being able to see half of what I’m working on at any given time. Don’t get me wrong though, I still draw all the time, making little improvements here and there, but it’s mostly on paper. I’m just not really able to utilize my tablet as well as I wish I could at the moment.
Lots of words, I know, I’m sorry.
What else?
Oh yeah, so, I’ve actually started taking some art classes, which I hope to improve a little through, but I’m going to end up doing a bit of 3D art, which, through prior classes I know I’m terrible at.
OHOH, I’ve also started spending more time trying to draw people than ponies.
I’ve been thinking about what I want to do with this page and the characters I’ve created…
I may not completely stop drawing ponies, but I want to learn to get better at other things, so I’ll be drawing them much much less. I’m to the point where I think if I’d actually do anything with this page, I’d start drawing more anthropomorphic characters, or just translate the stories to humanized versions (which would take some time, especially when it comes to the magic aspect).
At the moment, however, I’d think it’s best to assume that nothing great will come to this page within the foreseeable future. Chances are, if I do anything with my ideas, it will not be any time soon. I have a lot to learn, and at my current pace I’m not going to be at the level I want to be at to go through with this any time soon.

Now, if you’ve actually read this far, and wondering what that means for me and the page, well, I’ll tell you.
At the moment I still hardly touch this page or my mod blog. Hell, I have an RP blog I haven’t done much in the past few weeks with either. I’m not as addicted to tumblr as I once was, and that’s perhaps for the better.
Now, I’ll probably occasionally post a few pictures here in time, and use my mod blog for basic tumblr fun stuff, but I’m not deleting either blog. But not much is going to happen here at the moment.
As for the reblog-your-oc thing, at the moment, I’m unsure about it. I’m tempted to say that it’s not going to happen. See, another problem I have is not finishing half the things I start. That’s for everything, especially art. I sort of knew this would happen when I made that post to begin with. So at the moment, I’m just going to say that chances are, I won’t be going through with it, but we’ll see what happens in the future.
In the future, I could see me starting an ask blog, but most likely with a partner. If I have someone to help me keep things together, I usually work more efficiently. That being said, the ask blog would most likely have nothing to do with anon or any characters I’ve made that are associated with it.
Also, I feel as though I should just mention this: I’m actually drifting away from the MLP zone. That’s not to say I’m getting the hell outta dodge (because I honestly wasn’t too deep; certainly not as much as some of the converts I’ve created). I’m just slowly losing interest in the fandom, and this is for many reasons that I won’t bother listing, besides the fact that my interests just change.
I’m not leaving the fandom. That doesn’t just happen. I’ll just be slightly more detached from it. I’ll still be around to enjoy the show obviously. Maybe go to Bronycon when that comes up again (because truth be told, I went there mostly to meet up with some friends.) Honestly, I just want to break free from ponies a bit. I don’t want it to be the only thing I hear about anymore.
I’m not exactly sure what to conclude with so I just want to say thanks for reading and uh…
not goodbye, but…

I actually made this forever ago but there were things that I wanted to fix that I never ended up fixing.
Also, I still can’t tell if I like this color scheme. I’m horrible with color schemes.
I haven’t drawn anything like this in a long time.
Let’s seem if I can remember how to do legs.
ALSO, this is the first picture I looked at an actual horse’s anatomy to work off of.
I don’t know how well of a job I did.
One thing I still have trouble with if showcasing the depth of the body. All of the legs I draw make it look like they’re right next to each other, with no space for the gut. So, I have to work on that.
